Keep in mind it was 100.00 a night. Clean- this is where the hotel lacked. Carpet appears dirty with crumbs from last guest, shower had hair. Beer bottle cap under sink so I don’t think it was cleaned well. Door knob was falling off, one electrical outlet was sinking into wall, air conditioner cord was taped. So definitely a get what you pay for. Location- amazing didn’t hear much road noise or noise from other guest in hotel. Room- size was very nice they had a chair and bed.

BEDBUGS AND DIRTY SHEETS. We arrived and immediately went to the pool so we could use it before it closed. I put our stuff on the bed and when we came back I noticed a large stain on the comforter. So I started looking at the rest of the bed. There were stains everywhere, the pillows had drool stains and makeup. The bed had crumbs and hair in it. The sheets were not washed. So I decided to check for bedbugs and there were little black dots and blood smears everywhere (which are the number one thing to look out for). The bed up by the headboard was disgusting, posting photos of the bedbug stains on the bed and the dirty sheets. So I asked if we could move to a new room. The next room was just as bad, same bedbug signs, dirty sheets, trash wasn’t even taken out in the room. After that I wanted to go home. It was 11 pm by this point and my 8 year old and I were exhausted. We had been at a theme park all day and just wanted to go to sleep. I asked for a refund and the front desk worker said he couldn’t do that until the morning. He asked us to please stay and said he could give us a room with one bed on the second floor. I agreed because I was too tired to drive the two hours home, and because all of the other hotels in the area were booked. This room did seem a bit cleaner and I didn’t see the signs of bedbugs so we agreed to stay. It was midnight by the time we got to sleep. Bedbugs are SERIOUS and can ruin your life with the amount of money it costs to exterminate for them. The sheets should never ever be dirty when you check into a hotel room… it’s totally unacceptable and really ruined our vacation. The front desk attendant was kind, patient and understanding. He tried his best to accommodate us although it was a horrible situation. He left the pool open for 30 mins extra so we could use it when we first arrived and was never rude.

We had a great stay. The employees at the front desk were very friendly. Always saying hi and making conversation. Usually the front desk kind of ignores you after your check in, but the gentlemen that worked day and night were both great all three days. The cleaning staff we passed were also friendly. They kept the place very clean also. We were more than pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the property in general. They swept and mopped the common areas daily. Everything in the room was in working order (shower faucet made a loud noise when turning on but it worked fine). We slept great on the comfortable beds. Plenty of space in the room and bathroom. There was an indoor pool, but we didn’t go to see/use it. Breakfast was normal fare, but enough to get the day started. Eggs, sausage, waffles, toast/bagels, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal. Coffee was good. We had a great stay. Loved the value for price paid. The location was also great. Convenient to all the major things in the area. We were on the side away from the highway, and heard no outside noise. Will be back.
